My new single has been published! “Lone Star Beer and Bob Wills Music”, a cover of a Red Steagall song.
I learned this song in the eighties, when we were playing country music under the name “Jailbird” at the Rodeo Ranch in Curacao, every Saturday and Sunday for 3 years. I found it on a cassette tape which had “country” written on it, nothing else. No artist, no titles. No internet, Google, Shazam and streaming either in those days. I learned all the songs on the tape, most of them Red Steagall’s, as it turned out later.
